Empower Retirement expands roster of PGA Tour pros with Brendan Steele

PGA Tour professional represents the next phase of ‘Now is a Good Time’ campaign

Empower Retirement, the nation’s second largest retirement services provider,1 today announced a new sponsorship with three-time PGA Tour champion Brendan Steele, 35, of Idyllwild, California.

Known for performing under pressure, Steele turned pro in 2005 and is credited with multiple PGA Tour and Web.com Tour wins.

“Brendan is one of those highly motivated players known for his combination of driving distance and accuracy and one who is committed to excellence,” said President of Empower Retirement Edmund Murphy III. “As the new year kicks off, we are excited to partner with such a fine professional and cheer for his continued success.”

In addition to Steele, Empower partners with PGA golfers Webb Simpson and Robert Streb.

The partnership with Steele will include various engagement and social opportunities with Empower clients and partners. The Empower logo will appear on Steele’s shirt throughout the PGA Tour season.
