Empower Retirement receives top rankings from plan advisors
At its third anniversary Empower is highest rated in favorability among retirement plan providers
Retirement plan advisors across the country are endorsing Empower Retirement as the top defined contribution plan provider in a new survey published by a key retirement industry journal.
In a poll of 325 advisors conducted by PLANADVISER, Empower was named the top provider in six out of 10 categories, including: “Value for Price,” “Fee Structure for Advisers,” “Value-Added Adviser Services,” “Best Wholesalers” and “Best Overall Service” in two key categories. Empower placed first or second in every category of the survey.
“Three years ago we started on a mission to create a better retirement savings experience for American workers and we’re gratified that advisors share our excitement and appreciate the strides we’re making,” said Empower President Edmund F. Murphy III. “Ours is an advisor-centric business model and these survey results validate the work we have been doing with these important stakeholders.

The survey results are part of PLANADVISER’s annual “Retirement Plan Adviser Survey” which examines the factors that advisors consider when selecting providers and spotlights the companies they prefer, according to the magazine’s editors.
