Kurt Kitayama

To Kurt Kitayama, golf isn’t just a sport.

It’s a passion. 

Kitayama, a rising star on the PGA Tour, joined the Empower team as a brand ambassador in 2023, prior to the Masters. A graduate of UNLV, where he earned Academic All-Mountain West honors three years in a row as Runnin’ Rebel, Kitayama has been competing professionally since 2015. He won his first PGA Tour event in 2023 when he finished at the top of leaderboard at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. 

Above all, Kitayama has been a standout role model on and off the course while sharing the same core values as Empower.

Kitayama’s career highlights include:

• Won Arnold Palmer Invitational in 2023
• Three top-three finishes on PGA Tour in 2022
• Two career victories on the European Tour
• Qualified for Masters in 2023
• Earned PGA Tour Card in 2021
